Women in the Irish Laundaries are unhappy with the compensation package. I think they are justified. spending a year in one of these places and only getting 20,000e is quite unbelievable!
these were dreadful places. The hardships were enormous, the lasting damage was life-long/is life-long. 20,000e will not last long. Not the way Ireland is now and what these women NEED.
I think we should all be concerned.
Not sure who the guy is leading this group but wish the women were 'leading themselves'.

I fail to understand how the judge can say severe violence was 'not a crime at the time' . Violence against children is always a crime and assault, surely, has been on the statute books for decades??
