On the one hand he apologises for quite a few priest abusers then (of course) minimizes this by immediately saying 'but of course few given the numbers of priests',,,,well he didn't HAVE to say this. The very fact he did just shows that the Church is STILL in denial.
In any case, not many victims want the Pope to 'apologise'...They want justice, or their files from Rome, or priests reported to police, or taken out of Africa or South America where sex offender priests are hidden/dumped...there's so much this Pope needs to do and APOLOGY is one of them
