Who would I believe...Ian Elliott of course. After hearing the Pope saying the Catholic Church more than any organisation has done more for child protection (sic) I am just sooooo frustrated at the lie. How can he say this in the face of proof of quite the opposite.
in the Republic of Ireland the Association of Catholic Priests are asking for 'compassion' for old priests who made 'mistakes' and had 'relationships' as a teenager might since their sexuality was impaired by seminary training! (see the ACP website for discussion therein. )
Some great comments in the comments section! but only ONE priest rip-roaring in his condemnation of the ACP which has over 1000 members and was 'billed' as a more 'progressive group'.
Ah it's anger-making indeed ...
