A site to discuss clergy sexual abuse of children and adult women. I founded MACSAS - UK. I live in Ireland. I was raped by an Anglican priest in the 1980's in the UK.. I later discovered he'd molested many other young adult students. My 2009 PhD was entitled 'The well from which we drink is poisoned - Clergy Sexual Exploitation of adult women'.

i suggest that people start thinking about 'the church in Ireland/'
is it christian or is it institution?
Is it like the Labour party? that is governance, and delegates and duties etc.
Or is it a christian campaign?
eg, Jesus was a Human Rights campaigner, he was a speaker of threat each and everyone equally and well. no he didnt talk about 'the Mass' the 'Vestments' he spoke of the divide of rich and poor, charity etc. he didnt talk about church councils and laws, canon law verses civil law.
Jesus was there for ALL and the rules are the same - christianity, not theology, forget the midddle man go for the top guy. organised religion is not spontaneous goodness of christianity.
